The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park (PPSRNP) is one of the most important biodiversity conservation areas of the Philippines. It features a spectacular limestone or karst landscape that contains an 8.2 km long underground river.
A distinguishing feature of the river is that it flows directly into the sea, and the lower half portion of the river is brackish and subject to tidal influence. The area also represents significant habitat for biodiversity conservation. It contains a full mountain to the sea ecosystem and protects forests, which are among the most significant in Asia.
From the pick-up location in your hotel, a van will take you to Sabang, about two hours from the Puerto Princesa city proper. Along the way you will be shown many other popular natural attractions of Palawan.
Upon arrival in Sabang, one's turn at the underground river is on a very limited basis of 780 people per day, so it is highly recommended to book your tours early as possible.
IMPORTANT:
We encourageearly bookings (at least 3 week prior to arrival) to avoid disappointment as there is only a very limited number of people per day given permits to visit this natural wonder;
Provide the names of all travellersat the time of booking in order to facilitate processing of yourtour permits;
Please bring avalid Identification Card during the tour in order to validate your permit at the tourism office in Sabang Port prior to your departure for the Underground River; and
Children2 years and under are not allowed to take part in the Underground River Tour.

Just a few minutes north of the city proper, hop onto a boat and go island hopping at Honda Bay located in the mid-eastern coast of the city. Take your pick from dozens of white sand beaches.
Each island at Honda Bay offers different thrills: Snake Island has a sandbar that slithers on the surface of the sea, much like the critter that bears its name. It is best for snorkeling, swimming or simply basking in the sand. It can be reached in an hour by pumpboat. Pandan Island, Starfish Island and Pambato Reef are all great for swimming and snorkeling.
The Honda Bay Island Tour may either be booked as a group (join-in) tour or an exclusive (private) tour.
For join-in group tours, the more people you book for this tour, the lesser the rates per person. A minimum of 2 persons will be required on the join-in group and required to start the tour. All rates include buffet lunch with drinks.
For exclusive and private tours, as the tour is exclusive to you and your guest and the itinerary more flexible, you may be required to pay more than group tours for the luxury of exclusivity and utmost privacy.
